Thanks to Leaning 2.0 for showing us all the new things that are around, I would never have done a blog or many of the other things we are going to do. It is hard to find time and at present I am working from home, I find it hard to get near the computer due to the rest of the family using it !
My husband - a one finger typist who now enjoys the computer to listen to music and look up his fishing sites, and even my grandson - 3 years old can use the computer, he goes to his own bookmarks and starts a game ! I am sure technology will change by the time he is our age.
My son uses E-Bay and buys some of his fishing gear from America, much cheaper there, I am
told! I feel for country people buying over the internet is a quicker, cheaper and easier way rather than driving to Melbourne. So yes our computer is well used.
I saw the latest IPOD our 11 year old neighbour received for his birthday, about 1 cm thick,
10 cm long and 6 cm wide, it holds 500 songs, it was smaller than a mobile phone. He was also carrying his portable PS2, so yes the younger generation know more about technology than we do.
